Live Search Maps

Live Search Maps is the Microsoft map service. With it, you can, within a matter of seconds, easily find whatever postal address you seek. Additionally, you can pinpoint businesses of every kind, filtered for you according to category.

Live Search Maps allows you to save locations in your user profile, share them with other users via email or work out the routes of journeys between two points, no matter where you are.

One of the most striking features with Live Search Maps is the bird's eye-view, showing an aerial view of streets and cities using high quality photography to give a detailed impression. On top of that, if you have Virtual Earth 3D installed, you get access to a spectacular three-dimensional view.

Worth noting, too, is that you don't even have to register to use the service; as with Microsoft's other services, you can use your Windows Live ID to save locations or to gain access to the exclusive features.
